Surf the internet, log on to your office network or check your email. If you're at Changi Airport and you have a WiFi-enabled laptop, PDA or handset then free wireless broadband is at your fingertips! In addition to the over 400 free internet kiosks and 80 laptop Ethernet access points located throughout the terminal lounges and transit areas, two tiers of wireless broadband services are offered in Changi Airport. Wireless@SG Service (up to 512kbps) is available FREE to all travellers. Simply select Wireless@SG as your network ID (SSID), register for a new account (if you don’t already have one), receive your password via your mobile handset and you can immediately log on to the broadband network. This account also allows you to surf for free at any Wireless@SG hotspots throughout Singapore. For more information, please click here. Premium Wireless Broadband Service (up to 2Mbps) is also available at Changi Airport. This premium service can be accessed in 4 ways: - Foreign travellers can access the Premium WiFi service for free by roaming onto StarHub's mobile network with their mobile handset and dialing <*WIFI> (<*9434>) to receive a password. You can then access the network with a WiFi-enabled laptop or PDA using your mobile number as User ID and your new password.
- All StarHub post-paid customers have free access to the Premium service using their Hub ID or Gee! ID and password.
- International travellers with an existing WiFi account with members of the Wireless Broadband Alliance or a wireless ISP with a roaming agreement with StarHub (such as iPASS or Boingo). Charges apply.
- Other WiFi users may wish to opt to pay via credit card for the Premium WiFi service during their stay in Singapore. Charges range from S$6 per half-hour to S$12 for two continuous hours. You will see this option on the Welcome page at all StarHub wireless hotspots when you select "ACCESS-StarHub" as your network ID (SSID).
